Thanksgiving Recap

The week after Thanksgiving is always a tough one for me to recover from and get back in the swing of things, but we had such a great time visiting my grandparents in Florence, AL. Although it's only a two hour drive for us, we don't seem to get down there as often as we should. 

I originally had a sweater on to wear Thanksgiving day, but, y'all, it was hot! I ended up changing before we even left the house. This top is an old piece, but I've linked some very similar below from the same brand! These Express leggings and these Tom's booties are some of my absolute favorite staples as well.

Tis the Season for {Faux} Fur

If you haven't noticed, I LOVE fall! It's by far my favorite season. Something about warm drinks, furs and thermals make me happy. This vest is from last season, but I have linked two from the same brand below. Of course this thermal already sold out, but I have linked a few below similar as well.

This necklace is my new favorite. One of my girlfriends just started selling affordable and adorable jewelry, so I was so excited to get a few pieces from her. Especially this piece! Smile Fearlessly

If you know me, you know I drink a LOT of coffee during the day. To be completely honest, I usually sip on it throughout the entire day. I hadn't really tried to whiten my teeth in a while, but I was so excited to receive this whitening kit from Smile Brilliant. The process was super easy, and I have been so happy with the results!

First, they send you a kit to make your custom fitted teeth whitening trays. They give you step by step instructions on how to do it, so it's really hard to mess it up! Once you mix the catalyst paste and base together, you just pop it in the given trays and make the impressions of your teeth. Once your impressions are set, you just mail them back to them. The turn-around time to get your trays is extremely quick, so you don't have to wait long to get your trays back! You can learn more about the benefits of custom fitted trays HERE. 

To start your whitening, all you have to do is put the gel in your tray and pop them in your mouth for about 45 minutes to 2 hours. That easy! I will admit that I have sensitive gums and teeth, so it took me a few sessions for that to go away, but they also give you a desensitizing gel to use after you whiten. Let me tell you, it works wonders! The first few times I felt any sensitivity, once I cleaned out my trays and put that gel in for about 15 minutes, I couldn't feel a thing. Soon, I wasn't even bothered by the whitening gel. If you're like me and struggle with sensitivity, but still want to whiten your teeth, this product is definitely for you. Must Have "Diaper" Bag

Cold Shoulder Sunday Brunch Style

 This past weekend, I had the pleasure of officially meeting Carol, the blogger babe behind My Smart Collection. Before I had Ian, I was ALWAYS on time. Actually, I was usually early everywhere I went. Now, I cannot seem to be on time anywhere I go. Little Man Plaid
