30A Vacation Travel Guide

Charlie and I had so much fun last weekend getting away just the two of us. If you saw my Instagram post, you know that I had a lot harder time leaving Ian behind than I thought I would, but it really was  so good to just recharge and connect with Charlie without any distractions.

I hadn't been to the Rosemary Beach area since I was in middle school, and Charlie had never been, so it was fun to pretty much experience a new place together and get to explore. I am pretty sure our whole trip centered around when and where we were going to eat out next meal though! ;) I can honestly say that we had some of THE best food while we were there, and I have shared these restaurants below.
For breakfast we ate at Grits & Grind a few days in a row because we like it so much. It was within walking distance from our condo, and it is so good! We also stopped by the Donut Hole one afternoon and their donuts were delicious, so I definitely recommend grabbing some of those while you're there.
For lunch the first day, we had Crabby Steve's on the beach, and we loved the food, plus the atmosphere was fabulous. It's right on the beach, so you can just walk up and grab a drink or sit down and have some food. The second day I had pizza from Pizza by the Sea and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was also within walking distance from our condo + I had been smelling it everyday, so I had to try it. It definitely did not disappoint! The third day we biked around the town and stopped for lunch at the Summer Kitchen Cafe. Charlie and I both got burgers and they were definitely on the top of my burger list...SO good!
Each of the places we ate for dinner were absolutely outstanding. Neither of us had any meal that we didn't like and were highly pleased with the service at all of them. Our favorite was definitely Surfing Deer. We had their bacon appetizer which was probably some of the best bacon I've ever eaten (and I eat a lot of bacon). Then I ended my dinner with the Crab Cakes...they were the definition of yummy. We got a table outside, and you could see the ocean from our spot. It was just an overall prefect evening. We also ate at George's and La Cocina Mexican Grill. I highly recommend both of those as well. Surfing Deer was a little fancier, and I didn't really see any young kiddos there, but the other two places both had plenty of kids eating there while we were there, which is great if you have your family with you.
I can't leave out dessert. We had ice cream from Smallcakes Cupcakery and Creamery, and Charlie's raspberry was AMAZING! I got the birthday cake one and it was really good, but something about his made me jealous I didn't get it. I also grabbed a snow cone from the stand right out in front of that ice cream shop our last day, and it was delicious too. It took me back to my childhood days. I love me some sweets though, and it hit the spot after we had been riding around on our bikes for a few hours.

All in all, I think we have found our new family vacation spot. There were so many kids of all ages with their families, and it is so easy to get around walking or on a bike. We did rent a car, but mainly because we flew into Panama City and would've had to pay for a cab anyways. I can't wait to go back again soon! I would love to hear your favorite places if you frequent that vacation spot for the next time we visit. P.S. Outfit details to come soon! ;)

Happy Friday friends!

Swimsuit Favorites for Summer

I mean how adorable are all of these suits?! They have SO many more to choose from too. I got two last summer from them, and although shipping may take a little bit longer depending on which items you order, it was totally worth the wait for the price and how cute they are. I have gotten so many compliments on mine!

As for sizing, I ordered Medium bottoms in both and loved the coverage. I'm usually a size 4 pants for reference. In the tops I ordered Mediums in those as well. Pre-pregnancy I was about a A/B cup depending on which brand of bra I had on to give you an idea. Now I am a C/D and there is no getting into the mediums unfortunately. I hope that helps with the sizing a little bit. I know ordering online can be tricky sometimes since you can't try them on. I have not ordered one of their one pieces yet, but I definitely look forward to being able to next summer!

Father's Day Gift Guide

Shopping for gifts for Charlie has always been tough for me. Even though I love to try to be creative and surprise him, there have been only a handful of times where I really attempt to do this without his input or just simply buying him a gift card. I would like to think I did succeed the few times I've tried though! ;)

He know what he wants + can be super picky, which, in the end, is great because I always love what he buys/picks out for himself. It just makes it harder for me to pick out something for him by myself. So, with that being said, this year I decided to use some of his favorite pieces for my Father's Day shopping gift guide for y'all. I did add a few extra things, but a majority of these items on the list came straight from his half of the closet! I hope this makes shopping for the dad in your life a little bit easier this year.
