From Gym to Brunch

If you have followed me long enough, you probably know that I wear workout clothes generally 5 days out of the week. It's usually just the most comfortable thing to wear to keep up with the boys and since at least 3 of those days we're at the gym anyways, it's the most practical outfit for me to reach for in the mornings. A lot of the time I'm having to run errands, meet friends for lunch or pop in the grocery store with gym clothes on, so I wanted to share a few ways I take my favorite gear from the "gym to brunch."

First off, if you want to know the leggings I live in, these are them! I own these Wunder Under Crops in multiple colors (even some that are reversible). I honestly have not found a pair yet that I like better. These are the hi-rise, so they suck it all in AND they stay in place! A few others I've tried that claim to be hi-rise tend to fold over and get really uncomfortable during a workout, but these don't do that for me. WINNING. They are a bit of a splurge, but I usually find them on sale in THIS section of Lululemon's website (its their sale section, but they call it the "we made too much section") and I put them on my Christmas wish list ever year. ;) I promise you won't be disappointed if you give them a shot!

Since I do wear workout gear often, I've started buying cuter workout shirts that I would wear out in public afterwards to feel more put together. I think that makes a huge difference in making me look like I didn't just come from the gym! I love these cute shirts from Gap, and they aren't super expensive, which is great. You can find this exact top HERE, and another style I own from there that is super cute in multiple colors HERE.

My favorite way to dress up my workout gear is with a cute jacket or cardigan. I chose to wear my denim jacket this particular day, but a Moto jacket is another way I love to spice it up a bit. Opting for a duster cardigan, military jacket or even a cute sweater would be perfect too! This jacket is from high school, but I've linked a few of my favorite jackets below.

Don't forget cute sneaks too! I usually keep these on hand when I've got other places to go because they're comfortable, cute, and they go with just about anything. I love bright colored shoes, but have been trying to stick with neutral colors since I wear them a lot.

What are some way you like to take your workout gear to the next level? I would love to hear! Have a great weekend loves!

xoxo, Ash
