Our Visit to Soundwaves at Opryland

Last week, I was invited to take the boys on a day trip to the upscale indoor/outdoor water attraction Soundwaves at the Opryland Hotel. They are offering a TN Resident day pass for a limited amount of time, so it is the perfect time to check it out. I grew up visiting the Opryland Hotel often for the Christmas lights, but I hadn't been there since they added the water attraction, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. Needless to say, we all had so much fun!

When we arrived, they had a parking lot just for Soundwaves right next to the entrance, so it made it super easy to get the boys in without any hassle. The staff were all so friendly at check-in and during our entire experience. They have lockers available to rent spread throughout the attraction so you can store your belongings without worry and towels available for you to use so you don't have to bring any, which made it super easy.

I honestly wasn't sure how much there would be for Riley's age (almost 3) since he's not quite tall enough for most of the rides/slides, but there were indoor and outdoor toddler spaces with more than plenty for him to do. He was so happy the entire afternoon! Ian had a blast doing a few the "big kid" slides, and kept asking when we left why we didn't go on them more. He loved the toddler areas as much as Riley did too. We stayed for 4 hours, and we could have easily spent a day or two letting them play!

With 11 slides, multi-level play structures, a wave pool, adult-only areas and much more, there is definitely something for everyone in the family to enjoy! They have a few spots to order food (inside and out), and a bar as well. You can also rent a cabana to have your own private space, which we will definitely do next time we go and are able to stay longer!

They are following Marriott's "Commitment to Clean" standards to keep staff and guest safe. There was plenty of room there for us to social distance while playing, staff were wearing masks, regularly sanitizing and all seating was spaced out to help maintain social distance. Whether you have toddlers, older kids or want to make it a fun date, this is definitely a must to put on your summer list!

xoxo, Ashley
